Nikhil G. Thaker, MD

Dr. Thaker is a practicing radiation oncologist and co-founder of Bayta Systems LLC. He attended Rutgers University New Jersey Medical School, where he was awarded a clinical research fellowship through the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation.

He completed residency in Radiation Oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, where he also completed an Administrative Fellowship in healthcare management and led efforts in healthcare economics, quality improvement, and healthcare innovation.

He holds leadership positions within the American Brachytherapy Society and the American Society for Radiation Oncology. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Thaker focuses on technological innovation, value-based cancer care delivery, economics, and artificial intelligence.
